Rumi’s (1207–73) full name was Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi, He was a great Sufi saint and poet.
Rumi lived in Turkey (konya) , his father was a famous Sufi scholar and writer. In age of 37 he met a mystic wanderer Shams of Tabriz which was the biggest changing point of his life.
they had three years of friendship or love it’s unclear. After that Shams of Tabriz was disappeared, rumi lost himself in writing.
He wrote many love song to Shams of tabriz, The prophet Muhammad and God.
